Lauren Turner
Managing Partner
After over a decade of building her career in the corporate housing and furniture rental sectors, Lauren realized a missing link between corporate housing providers and those looking for customized long-term furnished apartments. With this in mind, she founded the company Sojurn in 2017. In 2023, after ample success building a client base and 5-star furnished housing service and product, Sojurn was Merged with TurnKey Housing. Lauren continues to oversee the sales and customer service teams and is driven by a passion for providing clients with the most exceptional service in the industry. Lauren is an active member of numerous organizations, including the Virginia Area Relocation Council (VARC) where she serves on the Board, as well as the Corporate Housing Providers Association (CHPA) where she holds her Corporate Housing Professional Certification and serves as Co-Chair for the 2025 Conference, Connect25.

JJ Hershey
Managing Partner
JJ Hershey leads TurnKey’s operations and customer service, ensuring our clients have the best possible stay while in the Washington DC area. He brings over 12 years of finance and operations background to TurnKey Housing Solutions. JJ began his career as an investment banking analyst for Arthur Andersen, consulting with companies in the healthcare industry and assisting them in preparing for possible mergers and acquisitions. He then spent the next 8 years working for General Electric/SABIC as a finance analyst and manager. While at General Electric/SABIC, JJ worked in many capacities including preparing and analyzing operating budgets for profit and loss centers with revenues in excess of $2 billion as well as leading the global business reporting team.

Eric Hershey
Managing Partner
Eric began his career with Windsor Communities as a marketing manager focusing on attracting potential renters throughout the DC area through various advertising and marketing strategies. Eric then joined Equity Residential, the largest apartment owner and manager in the United States, as a marketing project manager. While at Equity Residential, Eric implemented affinity programs and managed Equity’s Traveling Nurse, Preferred Employer, and Corporate Outreach programs. Eric then moved on to work for Madison Hospitality as their Director of Sales, helping build their corporate housing business in the Washington DC area.

Angela Stanford
Customer Experience Manager
Angela Stanford is the Customer Experience Manager for TurnKey. She grew up in Northern Virginia and has been in the furniture rental business for 20+ years and joined the TurnKey team in 2021. She has always enjoyed working with customers and takes a lot of pride in her empathy, communication skills and patience with customers. In addition to providing each guest with excellent customer service and resolutions to any and all inquiries, Angela is TurnKey’s property management and vendor coordinator, ensuring proper scheduling and effective communication with all of our vendors and community partners.
In her personal time, she and her husband are big West Virginia Football Fans (Let’s Go Mountaineers!) and are season ticket holders. In the warmer months, they spend their time in OBX and enjoy the beautiful sunsets.

Stacia Hershey
Director of Customer Experience
Stacia serves as the cornerstone of TurnKey’s Guest Services team, collaborating daily with multiple departments to ensure that we are providing every guest and client with a five-star experience from the moment a reservation is confirmed, until the day of departure. In addition to overseeing the entire reservation process, she leads our community partnerships by managing lease coordination, issuing timely notices to vacate, and ensuring all essential services are in place for each apartment.

Lisa Penna
Director of Strategic Partnerships
Lisa has been in the Corporate Housing industry for over 15 years and joined TurnKey in 2023. As Director of Strategic Partnerships, Lisa oversees TurnKey’s partner relationships nationwide, ensuring consistent service delivery, accountability, and compliance with agreed-upon Service Level Agreements (SLAs). She serves as the primary point of contact for housing partners, working closely with internal operations and sales teams to maintain high standards of quality, responsiveness, and performance across the portfolio. Lisa Born and raised in NJ, Lisa is a graduate of Seton Hall University’s Stillman School of Business and earned her MBA in 2012. Lisa enjoys summers at the Jersey shore with her family, and is an active volunteer in many local community activities.

Connor Holm
Director of Field Operations
Connor has been with TurnKey since 2019 and was promoted to Quality Assurance Manager in 2021, then on to Director of Operations in 2023. Connor handles all things Field Operations to ensure that our clients move into their perfect furnished home, and are provided with exceptional customer service for the duration of their stay. Connor graduated from Shippensburg University prior to working for TurnKey and when he’s not working, Connor is in Rock Creek Park or enjoying the great food DC has to offer. He also would never tell you himself, but he is an all-star long distance runner (he ran a 4:17 mile while competing in College!)
Brian Makell
Brian (BJ) joined TurnKey Housing in 2019, bringing many years of experience in the corporate housing industry. He is an integral part of TurnKey’s day-to-day operations, supporting the consistent delivery and quality of furnished housing across the portfolio.
BJ assists with all aspects of quality assurance, including apartment setups and pickups, and completes detailed inspection reporting for each furnished unit. He also plays a key role in maintaining an organized warehouse and supporting the prompt resolution of guest service issues, helping ensure a smooth and reliable experience for residents.
Kareem Staton
Field Associate
With extensive experience in the housewares and furniture rental space, Kareem plays a hands-on role in ensuring furnished apartments are delivered, set up, and maintained to meet TurnKey’s quality and service standards.
His responsibilities include the delivery and pickup of housewares, packing and unpacking items, apartment setup and final inspections, and maintaining an organized and efficient storage facility. Karim also assists with resolving guest issues in the field, helping ensure a smooth and comfortable experience for residents throughout their stay.
Known for his reliability and attention to detail, Karim is a critical part of TurnKey’s operations team, supporting seamless move-ins, consistent presentation of furnished units, and high levels of guest satisfaction.

Averi Roberts
University and Intern Housing Coordinator
Averi joined the TurnKey Housing team in 2024 and is focused on the coordination of university and intern housing. Having grown up in Northern Virginia and spending several years living and working in Washington DC, Averi relishes in sharing the treasures of her hometown with others. As a former educator in schools and museums, Averi is keenly attuned to the importance of experiential learning and the continuum of life long education. She is dedicated to supporting our students and interns in having an enriching and memorable Washington DC experience.
In her free time, Averi may be found at a live music event or hiking on some local trails. She also loves spending time with her two daughters, one of which is a Virginia Tech Hokie and the other in high school.
Klyde Morito
Marketing and Operations Assistant
Klyde serves as TurnKey’s Marketing & Operations Assistant, managing social media and marketing initiatives while also supporting strategic client projects and operational efforts. He is a key contributor to TurnKey’s brand presence and internal execution.
